DISCLAIMER
The services provided are movement-based Pilates and rehabilitative exercise sessions intended to support general strength, mobility, body awareness and functional movement. These sessions are educational in nature and NOT a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I am not a doctor, physiotherapist, or other regulated healthcare professional. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment or provide medical or therapeutic services.
Clients are encouraged to seek advice from their GP, physiotherapist, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding injury, medical condition, pain or rehabilitation programme.
CLIENT HEALTH DISCLOSURE
- Clients agree to disclose all relevant health information prior to participation, including but not limited to injuries, recent surgeries, medical conditions, pregnancy or pain.
- Clients confirm they are medically fit to participate in Pilates and rehabilitative exercise, or they have been cleared by qualified medical professionals.
- Clients agree to inform the teacher immediately of pain, discomfort, dizziness during a session. If exercises are being done at home and they experience any of these symptoms, they must stop the exercise. You MUST inform the teacher of any change in health status.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Pilates and rehabilitative exercises involve physical movement which carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury. By participating, clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities and agree to take responsibility for working within their own physical limits.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to this, the teacher shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss and liability shall be limited to total fees paid for services.
NO GUARANTEES OF RESULTS
Individual results vary and depend on a range of factors including health history, consistency and external influences. No guarantees are made regarding pain relief, recovery, injury prevention, or specific outcomes.
GROUP SESSION RESPONSIBILITY
In group sessions, individual supervision may be limited. Clients are responsible for monitoring their own physical limits, following modifications where appropriate, and working at a level suitable for the body on the day.
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
- NO refunds will be issued after initial 1:1 session has been booked.
- Programs will specify validity periods but currently they will expire after 8 weeks.
- 48hrs notice is needed to cancel your 1:1 session otherwise you forfeit these sessions.
- Refunds for program or packages can be issued 7 days from date of purchase but must be requested in writing to info@symmetrypilateshub.com
PRIVACY POLICY
Health information is treated as special category data under UK GDPR and is processed solely for the purpose of providing safe and appropriate movement sessions, with explicit consent.
